Freedom (commonly called The Freedom Tape) is an unreleased 4-track demo tape by Ween from 1992. The tape in its entirety is not in circulation, but some tracks have been circulated.[?]
Details[edit | edit source]
Freedom is dated October 11, 1992 in Dean Ween's handwriting. The tape is considered part of the creative process for what would become Chocolate and Cheese album.
Despite the date of the tape's compilation being in October of 1992, most of the tracks present had been demoed months prior, some even having been recorded at Graphic Sound Studio as far back as June of 1992.
