The Crucial Squeegie Lip is an early album by Ween, released on cassette in 1987 by Bird o' Pray Records. The album is comprised of songs from tapes dating back from 1983 to 1986. It was mixed by Andrew Weiss and William Tucker.[1]
The album features selected demo recordings made by Ween, with heavy reverb added by Weiss. The original mixes of many of the demos can be found on the 1988 Prime 5 cassette, a compilation of material from Ween's first five demo tapes.
