"Fool to Cry" is a cover of a Rolling Stones song that was recorded by Ween. It was likely recorded during sessions for The Mollusk in 1995.
Song Details[edit | edit source]
"Fool to Cry" was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, and originally appeared on their 1976 album Black and Blue.[1] Ween recorded a version of it for the film Beautiful Girls in 1995, but it was rejected by the Rolling Stones' publicist.[2] "I'll Miss You" was submitted in it's place, and it appeared on the film's soundtrack album in January 1996.
It leaked at some point in the early 2000s in low quality.[3]
Ween has never played "Fool to Cry" live; the only known version is the Mollusk demo.
